Be part of the conversation! Join us as we discuss how our district can strengthen CTE programs to better prepare students for today’s workforce. After a short update from district leadership, you’ll work alongside educators and administrators to share insights and help shape future strategies.
We host this breakfast twice a year in partnership with the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce to both share both what is happening in our CTE programs and how to connect with them to help build our future workforce.
The first portion of the time will feature a chat with students who are part of an AI internship and features some of the innovative work being done with our CTE programming in Stockton Unified.
The major part of the breakfast will be built around a collaboration that examines our Career Technical Education Program data to provide feedback for our Perkins Grant Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment. This helps us identify CTE program strengths and areas of focus for improvement.
We have administrative, teacher, student, and counselor representatives from all of our high school sites and we value the diverse perspectives and conversations that everyone on this email brings whether it be from a district, postsecondary, industry, or workforce development lens.
You can register for the breakfast at https://cm.stocktonchamber.org/events/details/bea-breakfast-5075042 ". Please register by Tuesday March 3.
