EcoSmart Solutions is seeking a driven and personable District Manager to help grow our energy
management footprint into new territories. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building relationships,
identifying new business opportunities, and promoting our energy management upgrades. You’ll
represent the company at networking events and Chamber of Commerce meetings, while also engaging in
targeted outreach to commercial properties across the region.
This is a highly interactive role requiring both professional networking and direct canvassing to generate
qualified leads and support our mission of helping businesses reduce energy costs, improve building
performance, and leverage utility programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Networking & Community Engagement:
• Represent the company at Chamber of Commerce events and local business networking
functions.
• Serve as the public face of our organization in the region, promoting our energy management
services and educating business owners and property managers about available utility-backed
programs and ways to reduce their energy consumption.
• Build and nurture relationships with local business leaders, facility managers, property owners,
and key referral partners.
• Collaborate with marketing to support outreach campaigns, event materials, and follow-up
strategies.
• Occasionally assist in coordinating and hosting company-led events or informational sessions in
the community.
Canvassing & Lead Generation:
• Visit commercial buildings to introduce our energy efficiency services and utility-partnered
offerings directly to property owners and managers.
• Distribute company flyers and marketing materials on-site and provide basic program
information.
• Gather and document contact information from interested prospects and hand off to the internal
sales team for follow-up.
• Maintain accurate records of daily outreach, conversations, and lead status in the CRM system.
• Help meet and exceed weekly and monthly lead generation targets through a mix of field visits
and follow-ups.
Qualifications:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to speak confidently about
technical services in a clear and approachable manner.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proactive approach to networking and canvassing.
• Comfortable working in the field and attending events that may occasionally take place outside
standard business hours.
