Thank you. \n\n\n\n 52nd Annual Industrial Technology Barbecue\n\nWednesday\, September 14\, 2016\, 5:00pm-9:00pm \n\nUniversity Plaza Waterfront Hotel\, 110 W. Fremont St.\, Stockton 95202    \n\n \n\nEach year\, the Industrial Technology Barbecue honors those major manufacturers and industries that have located in\, or expanded their operations within San Joaquin County.  Each of these companies represent over $1 million in plant and equipment investment\, and together total thousands of new employees in our community.  Recently\, we've added technology businesses as a new category in order to honor those businesses that contribute to our economic base\, though do not fall into the "industrial" category.  \n\n \n\n \n\nCriteria:\n\nThose INDUSTRIAL BUSINESSES eligible for awards must be located in an industrial zone\, and be in operation by July 1.  They must also meet or exceed two of the following requirements:  20 new jobs to San Joaquin County\, 20\,000 square feet of new or expanded roofed facility or $1 million capital investment.  \n\n \n\nThose TECHNOLOGY BUSINESSES must be located in an appropriate zone\, and be in operation by July 1.  They must also meet or exceed two of the following requirements:  50 new jobs to San Joaquin County\, 10\,000 square feet of new or expanded roofed facility or $1 million capital investment.
